Overheating Causes Balance and Coordination Issues
Long before heat illness or heat stroke set in, heat begins to affect balance, coordination, and patience. In addition to helping your mascots/characters stay
safer and more comfortable, they are less likely to suffer injuries caused by poor coordination or balance.
Our cooling gel packs, which have a useful life of about 2 years, are simply pre-cooled in your team's freezer and inserted during the game/mascot performance
period.
After use, the gel packs are easily sterilized, hand washed, or washed in a drum washer. The soft portion of the gel pack that is in contact with the cranium is
made from antimicrobial microfiber.

Simply drop the pack in the upper helmet and pop it out when you are ready to insert a new one.

Just wear the first pack for about 30 minutes, then change to the second pack while placing the first back in the freezer. This way with as few as 2 packs, you can
make a big impact on your comfort and safety. Please note: the skin on the top of your head will fool you - it will tell you that the pack isn't cooling much in only a
few minutes. Actually, the pack is still providing significant cooling, but the nerves in your skin will adjust (like jumping into a cold pool - it doesnt feel cold after a
minute). Our high-heat outdoor field testing in temperatures of over 110 degrees consistently recorded packs at 68 degrees after 20 minutes use. That's 30
degrees colder than your body and it really makes a difference.
